10 Utterly Irritating Video Game Heroes You Were Supposed To Love

2. Mog (FFXIII-2)

rsz_xiii-2_mog Mog falls into the support category of hero, as he doesn't do much to affect the plot directly, however has a few abilities that are indispensable to the main characters. Mog can reveal hidden items, show the path to nearby treasure, help Serah and Noel get the jump on monsters, and cause you to wish you had never grown ears. That's right - Mog is another "hero" with a soul-destroying, high pitched, irritatingly cutesy voice. The Moogles in previous Final Fantasy games were annoying enough, but at least they didn't have voice acting, so all you had to put up with was text-based nonsensical "Kupo!" noises. Which was difficult enough. Now you've got a wailing ball of fur flying around your head, stalking you throughout the game. The only saving grace is that you can throw Mog around the levels, with the intention of collecting remote treasure. We prefer to use this unique ability to throw Mog down endless chasms when we can't take any more of his ridiculous voice. Most annoying quote: "Tada! Kupo!"
