9. The End - Metal Gear Solid 3
The interesting thing about the bosses in Metal Gear Solid 3 is that they each utilize a different fighting style. One of them, a veteran sniper named the End, forces Snake to play cat and mouse in the jungle as he takes shots at him from afar.
The typical fight with the End is a battle of wills, requiring you to follow the End's tracks while simultaneously covering your own. There are alternative methods of dealing with him, however, such as using the crocodile cap to fool him into leaving you alone and waiting two weeks in real time to make the End die of old age.
But if you're in a real hurry, the third option might be the best for you.
There is a way to kill the End early, before you get to fight him. When the old man is being escorted in his wheelchair inside an enemy base, you can use your sniper rifle to shoot him in the head.
This kills the End immediately and replaces his boss fight with an ambush of Ocelot's elite snipers.
Just be careful, as shooting the End early will cause his wheelchair to explode, hurling a lethally fast wheel right towards your face.
