8. Glass Joe - Punch-out!!
The fighters from the Punch-Out! game for the Wii are a hilariously cartoonish bunch, each with a unique gimmick that makes them feel special. There's a cowardly Frenchman, a bear-wrestling Canadian, and a genetically enhanced Soviet soldier who's addicted to drinking soda...
Yeah, Punch-out!! is a really weird game.
However, aside from their colorful personalities, the fighters also have unique weak spots referred to by fans as KO tricks. When the opponent telegraphs his moves or exposes a certain part of his body, the player can instantly knock them out with a single well-timed punch. Glass Joe is an extreme example of this, as his KO trick doesn't just knock him out; it also forces him to immediately forfeit the fight.
When the player fills up their attack bar by quickly punching Glass Joe in the face or simply blocking his attacks, the poor Frenchman tries to show his national pride by yelling "Viva La France," you can hit him in the jaw to immediately send him flying off the ring with permanent brain damage.
The entire fight lasts less than a minute, but at least good old Joe doesn't embrace his countrymen's stereotype by running away from it.
