10 Video Game Character Builds You Must NEVER Choose

5. World Of Warcraft - Pandaren Start

This choice is not so much game-breaking as it is annoying, especially after playing the game for quite some time. World of Warcraft's DLC, Mists of Pandaria, has introduced a whole new region with a brand new playable race. The titular Pandaria is a peaceful and remote island growing on top of a giant turtle. The game tries to represent the reserved nature of its people by allowing the player to choose if their Pandaren character will join the Horde or the Alliance through a questline.

In theory, a race that can choose between the two factions sounds really interesting, and if you're planning on playing alone, then sure, the Pandern storyline can be a blast. However, let's not forget that World of Warcraft is a multiplayer game. And this is where you might start to regret your choice of character.

Because your Pandaren cannot join a faction until level 10, they miss out on a lot of features that other races have immediate access to. Your friends will be already striking it big with guilds and enjoying the perks of their respective factions, while you will be stuck pandering (no pun intended) to the whims of Pandaria's monks and priests.
