10 Video Game Characters Stolen Straight From Hollywood

2. Ken Rosenberg - David Kleinfeld (Carlito's Way)

Kratos American History X
Rockstar/Universal

The archetypally neurotic Jewish lawyer from GTA: Vice City has his, errr, vices. He's addled with cocaine addiction and has a tendency to get embroiled a bit more than his clients' dealings than is strictly legal, but he's essentially a good guy and ally to the player-character in both Vice City and Vice City Stories.

Rosenberg's personality and appearance are clearly inspired by David Kleinfeld from classic 80s crime flick, Carlito's Way. Kleinfeld too is heavy on the Jewish lawyer shtick and appreciative of cocaine, but unlike Rosenberg is volatile, insecure and untrustworthy -  ready to go betray and kill those close to him to save his own skin.

In a way, Rosenberg and Kleinfeld are like diametrically opposed extremes of the same person, existing in the parallel dimensions of GTA and reality.
