10 Video Game Fights You Didn't Know How To End

9. Zeus - God Of War III

Batman Arkham City Mr Freeze
SCE Santa Monica

God of War III's final boss fight sees Kratos taking on Zeus, and after completing the main fight, an interactive cutscene will take place where Kratos tackles Zeus and you're afforded the opportunity to punch his face into a bloody mist - literally drowning the screen in blood, even.

A circle button prompt in the corner of the screen seems to implore the player to just keep going, and for many, it wasn't remotely clear that they actually had to stop punching Zeus in order to progress.

And so, many simply kept pounding Zeus' face ad nauseum, possibly assuming their game had glitched out and just rolling with it. But in actual fact, if you stop punching Zeus for about three seconds, the game finally moves on with its ending sequence.

There are certainly far less fun and satisfying sequences to get trapped in, that's for sure.
