10 Video Game Fights You Didn't Know How To End

Basaran is the ninth colossus in Shadow of the Colossus, and while hardly among the more memorable of the game's sixteen statuesque bosses, is certainly the most challenging and frustrating to take down.

Though most of the game's bosses can be felled without too much trouble simply by keeping an eye out for weak points and observing any environmental objects which can help you, Basaran is a whole lot trickier.

Even if you're able to avoid the creature's powerful, fast lightning bolts, the key to defeating him is a real pain in the ass. You need to lure Basaran to a geyser, which will stall him long enough for you to fire arrows at his legs and topple him.

You then need to climb on top of him and find the weak spot atop his head, but it's all easier said than done.

For starters, Basaran isn't easily tricked, and even when do successfully get him to stand by a geyser, the positioning has to be just right for him to co-operate.

This battle can take a long, long time if you don't know exactly what you're doing, and as such it's a good deal more irritating than some of the game's more genuinely daunting fights.
