10 Video Game Fights You Didn't Know How To End
5. The Phantom - Kingdom Hearts
The Kingdom Hearts series boasts its fair share of head-scratching bosses, but perhaps none more puzzling than the original game's optional Neverland boss, The Phantom.
What makes The Phantom so tricky is its Death Sentence attack, which places a Doom timer above the heads of your party members, and if it counts down to zero, the afflicted party member is irreversibly KO'd for the rest of the fight.
The trick to combating this devastating attack is to cast Stopra on Big Ben, which will freeze the timer temporarily and allow you to focus your attacks on The Phantom.
Even so, it's an extremely tough fight recommend only for high-level veterans of the game. Amusingly, defeating The Phantom will reward players with Stopga, an improved version of the very spell that's pivotal in ensuring this battle can be won.
