10 Video Game Franchises We Really Don't Need More Of
5. Anything Featuring James Bond
Whenever someone mentions video games and James Bond in the same sentence; everyone immediately jumps to the conclusion that they're discussing Goldeneye N64; it's just a simple, inescapable fact of life.
There had actually been a lot of Bond-themed games before Goldeneye came into our lives and, sadly, an awful lot since. For six years, EA threw out game after game that were all beyond irritating - there was nothing much to write home about between 1999 and 2005; even Nightfire and Rogue Agent were godawful on reflection.
Subsequently, Activision acquired the rights to the character and three naff Bond video games later, we're finally content to simply sit and watch 007's adventures rather than play through them ourselves. Maybe a Johnny English game would be better received?
