10 Video Game Platformers That Deserve A Remake
2. Rayman 2: The Great Escape
Putting aside the fact that Rayman Legends is one of the best 2D platformers around, people often forget that Rayman once had a 3D game. And a bloody good one at that. The game was a little rough around the edges, but it held platforming to its core and as a result was an incredible challenge.
Rayman has a very interesting world and one that remains disastrously un-explored. Aside from his foray in legends, there is a distinct lack of easily available quality titles, with Ubisoft snubbing the franchise in favour of pushing Rabbids.
Having his best 3D game brought back and remastered would be a welcome thing, even if it was just an update to graphics. The controls could of course be tightened up, but frankly we'd take anything to do with Rayman.
