A few years ago, the team at Giant Bomb, one of the internet’s most-loved gaming sites, split up, with a few of the staff members moving across America to set up a new office in New York while the rest of the team remained at the brand’s San Francisco base.
The brand’s long-running podcast, the Giant Bombcast, continued, but the New York branch decided to start up a new show of their own. The Giant Beastcast was born and has gone on to become hugely popular, with Giant Bomb fans thrilled to have twice as much content to listen to.
The team of hosts has changed over the years, but the core themes and feel of the podcast have remained constant throughout. Each episode is filled with big belly laughs and entertaining gaming discussions which often veer off onto completely unrelated subjects. There’s no rhyme or reason to most episodes of the Beastcast, but it’s a wonderfully charming podcast, with host Vinny Caravella providing a lot of personality.
