3. Perform An Obscene Amount Of Fatalities To Open The Throne Room - Mortal Kombat 11

In Mortal Kombat 11's Krypt, tasks and puzzles must be completed to open new areas and treasure chests. In the beginning of this mode, our anonymous adventurer should notice a sealed door at the entrance that leads to Shang Tsung's throne room, which contains the most coveted collectibles. To enter the dark sorcerer's inner sanctum, a certain amount of finishers must be executed.

At first, this request sounds reasonable. The MK franchise was founded on blood, so it makes sense to pulverise skulls and gouge out eyeballs to unlock the real juicy stuff.

However, completing this task isn't easy. To unseal this area, 25 Fatalities must be performed on ten kombatants in the Towers of Time or Klassic Towers (Local matches don't count.) Since the opponents are randomised, racking up 25 Fatalities on specific challengers is tough.

But once the deed is done, Shang Tsung's quarters opens, allowing the protagonist to open a myriad of treasure chests.

However, some chests remain shut unless our hero puts out a light on the first floor. However, this light is hidden behind a barricade, which can only be accessed after performing 25 Fatalities on 15 kombatants.

But it's still not over. The throne room contains another locked door that only opens after performing 25 Fatalities on all 25 main kombatants.

Although fulfilling this criteria reaps great rewards, it's hard not to feel like a monster. After all, pulling off 625 brutal finishers just to collect a new hat or a pair of sunglasses is a little screwed up.
