2. Beating Evil Mode Unlocks Tons Of Valuables - The Lord Of The Rings: The Third Age

Based on Peter Jackson's adaptation of The Lord of the Rings, The Third Age centres around lesser known heroes who have been tasked with helping the fellowship destroy The One Ring.

Though licensed titles and movie tie-ins are pretty hit-and-miss, EA's role-player has plenty to offer. Not only can gamers and Tolkien lovers explore Middle-Earth to their heart's content, there's an option called Evil Mode that allows the villains to take centre-stage.

Imagine decimating the kingdom of Gondor as the Witch-King of Angmar, rampaging into Rohan soliders as an Oliphaunt, or challenging Gandalf in Khazad-dum as a freaking Balrog. Although fighting as a heroic elf is enjoyable, it pales compared to playing as one of Sauron's unstoppable minions.

What makes Evil Mode more enjoyable is the fact it makes the main campaign significantly easier. Slaying countless innocents as a Nazgul or a troll unlocks an ample amount of enhancements, which can't be unlocked any other way.

After completing every mission in Evil Mode, our band of heroes will have more than enough weapons, armour, and elfstones to breeze through every mission in the story mode.
