4. Red Dead Redemption 2 - John Marston

Red Dead Redemption - John Marston

John Martson had never been the brightest bulb but Red Dead Redemption 2 took it a step too far.

In the first game, John is presented as a family man that returned to his life of crime in order to track down his old gang boss and return to his family. His entire motivation for hunting and killing his old "family" was getting back to his current one.

Red Dead Redemption 2 showed fans that this wasn't always the case with John often running off on his own, abandoning Abigail and his young son Jack. Not only was John on the verge of constantly fleeing from his responsibilities but he also made several decisions that put them in direct harm's way.

During the epilogue, John started using the name of a federal agent that had been hunting him and moved his family just outside of the very town that wants him dead.

Going back and playing the first game makes John seem an utter fool for think Blackwater was ever a safe place to hide.
