10 Video Game Side-Quests That Were Better Than The Main Story

1. A Night To Remember - Skyrim

The Witcher 3 Geralt
Bethesda

Simple, fun, and genuinely brilliant. The Daedric quests in the Elder Scrolls are some of the finest. They usually have you doing some stupid meaningless task that gives you a brief respite from the impending dragon invasion. And Sanguine's quest is no different.

It essentially has you retracing your drunken escapades across the entirety of Skyrim. You find out you trashed a temple, sold a prize goat to a giant and got hitched to a monster in the woods.

It's fun, whimsical nonsense that is memorable for being so.

Because amidst all the dragons, the civil war, the death and destitute, the chaos and calamity, you have a sweet innocent moment where you hook up with a Hagraven and discover the disturbing implications the morning after. Truly a tale as old as time.
