Game: Halo 3 343 Guilty Spark wasn't a terrible character. For a time, the AI Monitor provided a welcome bit of comic relief in the Halo series, and his back story was even pretty interesting. Guilty Spark was a creation of the Forerunners, making him the biggest link between the Master Chief and the origins of the Halo rings. The reason 343 Guilty Spark is one of the worst villains ever though, is because Bungie decided to make this little ball of AI the final boss of Halo 3. Sure, some players probably enjoyed putting an end to this slightly annoying character, but did he really have to be the primary foe in the climactic battle? Bear in mind that, at the time, this was supposed to be the final boss fight of Master Chief's entire story. Not only did it feel anti-climactic in comparison to, say, a giant robotic scorpion or Gravemind (please Bungie), but Guilty Spark was dispatched of in just three hits.
