10 Video Games Impossible To Beat Without A Guide
4. Kerbal Space Program
When the YouTube gamer scene really got going in the early 2010's, many games were specifically designed to be played by the Markipliers and the Jacksepticeyes of the world. Most of this was just intentionally making jokes designed to terrify or annoy, anti-humor in pixelated form made to frustrate players for engagement. And then there was Kerbal Space Program.
Kerbal's claim to fame was being another one of these, but with the twist being of it actually being one of the most meticulously and intelligently designed games of the 21st century. And it is because of that, that frustration arises.
See, in order to get to the space to which the Kerbals have dedicated this program, you have to build a rocket. And the game expects you to know what goes into doing so. That means proper construction, wind resistance, balance, fuel compensation, weight, and a million other factors are present and must be taken into consideration when building it. Otherwise, you get...well, exactly what happens when an amateur tries to build a rocket to space.
If you'd rather not have an army of little green corpses on your conscience, then you're gonna need a guide to get you through this game. And be prepared to take notes, because you're gonna have to do some math.
