9. Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped
Yes, I know that this is technically 105%. Forgive me. I'm ashamed to admit that I wasn't aware you could reach 105% on Crash Bandicoot 3 until I read it in a magazine. Sorry guys. To this day, I still haven't been able to do so. The stress and frustration of trying to get a gold relic on that darn blimp level (for the sake of a small firework display let me remind you), just didn't seem worth it. As my embarrassing anecdote alluded to, in order to complete the game 105%, you would have to collect every crystal, gem and relic (to at least gold standard). That sounds a lot easier than it actually is. Savvy gamers would employ underhanded tactics to bypass the games logic, jumping around the map and determining the fastest route of movement for Crash (which in actual fact is apparently sliding and then jumping). The problem with this is that it's not in the spirit of the game. Of course, that only matters if your moral compass requires you to 'play by the rules' so to speak. I guess I'm one of those guys. I'll complete it fully one day, hopefully. For now though, I can sleep easy at night with my incomplete game and clear conscience.
