10 Video Games That Ruined Your Social Life

1. Grand Theft Auto V

Gta V Social Life Edited 1 The most anticipated game in recent history, the fifth installment of Rockstar's flagship Grand Theft Auto franchise had a lot of hype to live up to. And rumours of the game's ridiculously massive and detailed map months before its September release only added fuel to the fire of anticipation for fans who had waited five years since its equally revered predecessor, 2008's GTA IV. And in terms of sheer size that was promised to fans of the long running series, Rockstar did not disappoint. Splitting a massive story line between three main characters and shifting the focus periodically throughout the many areas of GTA's re-imagined LA sprawl, the game bombarded players with limitless opportunities for exploration and replay value, and its dark tongue in cheek humor and vast Easter eggs have kept players coming back to the city of Los Santos. Rockstar also developed its new Grand Theft Auto Online mode simultaneously, and gives players the chance to play in a constantly evolving multiplayer experience set in the same world of GTAV. Its user generated Content Creator has made the game a much larger co-operative experience, and one that will have players developing square eyes in no time.
