10 Video Games That Fans And Critics Will Never Agree On
1. Deadly Premonition

User Score: 8.3
Why The Difference?
Every other game on this list is an example of a title that was largely beloved by critics and largely ridiculed by general gamers. Most of the time, if there is a divide between the two parties, that is how the relationship works. Deadly Premonition though, is a fascinating exception to that rule.
The reviews of this game painted it as nothing short of a travesty. The most infamous came from IGN who described it as “awful in every way.”
Gamers, however, soon realised that past the game’s many technical flaws was a horror adventure too weird and wonderful not to love. There was nothing else one the market quite like Deadly Premonition, and many players loved it because of that.
A true anomaly in every way, this cult hit proves that sometimes you just need to take the fiscal risk and form your own impressions on a poorly received game that looks interesting to you.
