10 Video Games That Killed Off The Wrong Character

4. Pretty Much Everyone - Danganronpa

Danganronpa is a game that doesn't get enough credit in the wider gaming world. The premise revolves around a 'killing school game' that involves a twisted moral situation for each of its participants.

Will the students kill someone else to escape their captivity? If they do can they get away with it? Obviously this leads to a lot of deaths, and a lot of player tears as their waifu is unceremoniously murdered.

Eventually this gets to the point where all that's left are some of the most boring and one dimensional characters in the game. So of course, Miss Fanservice and the useless Psychic Stoner Bro are two of the final participants. Unfortunately, the two add nothing to the plot or gameplay; beyond both of them shouting out absurd theories during the class trials that is.

But think of how much better it could have been had pretty much anybody else survived instead. Someone like the manipulative goth gambler, or maybe even the stoic martial arts master. Not the fanfic writer. He can stay dead.

The second game does seems to fair a bit better. This time around only some of your favourites will end up dead.
