10 Video Games That Let You Destroy The World

6. Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3

Fallout 4 Nuke
Bandai Namco Entertainment

Another fighting game with a powerful world-destroying move, Budokai Tenkaichi 3 lets you play as Frieza, one of the major antagonists across the entire Dragon Ball Z franchise. And fittingly, because he's such a bad dude, he has the ability to cause untold amounts of damage.

In the game, each character comes equipped with their own set of unique attacks. Some of Frieza's best include Death Beam and Punishing Rush (where he knocks his opponent into the air and starts absolutely battering them), but his coolest is Death Ball, which has some unfortunate ramifications for the rest of the planet.

The move starts with Frieza pointing his finger into the sky, before sending an unstoppable wave of energy barrelling towards his enemy. This energy then explodes outwards and sends a shockwave around the globe, causing orangey-red cracks to appear in its crust. "Death Ball" is quite an apt name for this one.

This attack will even transform the appearance of the stage that Frieza is currently fighting on, turning it into a barren wasteland of rocky terrain and fire. So, if you want to wreck a planet and give your surroundings a makeover, Death Ball is your ideal move.
