10 Video Games That Need A Movie Adaptation

7. Bulletstorm

Bold, brash and loud are the three words best used to describe Bulletstorm. Playing as anti-hero Space Pirate Grayson, you and your merry crew have been framed for murdering innocent civilians by your boss General Serrano. So after fleeing in your ship you happen across the Confederation ship. Filled with booze Grayson makes the only sensible decision there is while highly intoxicated, go all out and try to take the thing down! Of course this didn't go to plan so you're now stranded on a long abandoned resort planet with a whole host of freaks running around baying for blood. What sets this apart from other games is the "skill points" you get for dispatching enemies in a variety of gruesome ways, from shooting them to bits to kicking them into huge spiked walls. You also have a nifty whip for pulling off these moves. The movie itself could be another out and out gun porn flick with the amount of booze Grayson consumes and the amount of swearing he does and most importantly, the size of his guns. Again this could be set post-game or indeed focus on their time avoiding the confederation ships leading up to the events of the first game. Casting I think Stallone would be good in the role of Grayson since Grayson himself is slightly older or Russel Crowe and they are both still churning out pretty good action flicks for the age they are. Danny Trejo would make a pretty sweet Grayson too due to his work in Machette. Likelihood of this being made: 6/10 Strong contender but I don't know if there is a big enough market for it at the minute. It could come out as too gruesome and use too many F bombs for the BBFC/MPAA. I would love to see it made though, the scenery would look amazing as well as the storyline.
