9. Halo: The Master Chief Collection
What Halo fan wouldn’t want a re-release? All the classics that made their favourite series. Halo 1-4 with the first two remastered in one great collection, what’s not to like? You could finally play through these classic games again with your friends, maybe even play them online maps you know like the back of your hand.
Well, a lot of people couldn’t, on the game's release. You just couldn't join online matches, whether with friends or strangers. The game was plagued by connectivity issues and unreliable servers, and this understandably caused a great deal of frustration amongst players.
Bungie had to apologise and offer recompense in the way of a free month of Xbox Live gold, an Avatar, nameplate and a free downloadable copy of Halo 3: ODST to all those who were affected by the issues.
Later, Halo 3: ODST would be made available to all those who owned the game as well as a number of other features. These fixes and additions made the game a perfect way to re-play the Halo series, after a rather rocky launch.
