The main protagonist of Far Cry 6, Dani, is a person who’s torn between helping their friends and countrymen liberate themselves from Anton Castillo’s dictatorial regime and trying to find a better and more peaceful life somewhere far away from Yara.

This point is brought up multiple times throughout the game, and while everyone around Dani will keep saying that the latter option is the way of a coward and a selfish jerk, it doesn’t mean it’s a path you cannot follow.

In fact, the game will even reward you with a special secret ending if you decide to become a friend-abandoning deserter.

If the fight for Yara feels too taxing for you and you don’t mind leaving all your friends to die, you can technically flee the country by driving any vehicle outside of the game’s map.

This will trigger a cutscene in which Dani moves to the United States and is seen enjoying a pleasant day on the beach as a nearby radio broadcasts news about the catastrophic failure of their friend’s revolution and their consequent deaths.
