Sometimes being bad isn’t just about getting cool powers or more stuff, sometimes it’s about being hilarious. And for that we must give props to Renegade Shepard.

I’m two out of three games into my second Mass Effect playthrough and being nice can be a drag. You know what’s not a drag? Punching people in the face. And who deserves to be punched in the face? Honestly, half the people you run into in the Mass Effect trilogy. Usually all the things you really want to say and do to the crappiest scum of the universe are gated behind renegade actions, meaning if you do them then you’ll land yourself with evil points.

But if you want to be bad anyway, that door is fully opened to you so punch reporters and pick Morinth over Samara to your heart’s content.

Sure, you might have a bit of trouble on the war asset front and if you go all-out bad you might lose a lot of companions, but you’ll be hilarious, and isn’t that more important?
