10 Video Games That Start With The Final Boss
1. Duke Nukem Forever
As a self-proclaimed fan of both kicking ass and chewing bubblegum, Duke Nukem is no stranger to popping caps in virtually anything and everything he sees. The pig cops that have become the iconic series baddies get mowed down by the truckfull, and even the bigger enemies don't last much longer against the egomaniac's ever-increasing arsenal.
It's always surprising, then, to see a bigger, badder one among the crowd give you the runaround all the way from the start of the game to the finish.
After a bit of fun doodling obscenities on a whiteboard, the first enemy Duke comes up against is the Cycloid Emperor. A nice early challenge, you may think, and with the ludicrously powerful Devastator weapon in your grip, this should be over in seconds.
However, you'd be wrong! The Cycloid Emperor is, in fact, the game's main antagonist, and survives right until the end, at which point another epic battle takes place and you can finally blow the ugly bugger away once and for all.
After that, Duke is free to curb stomp or teabag his corpse to his heart's content. Not sure which he'd prefer.
