10 Video Games That Will Disappoint You In 2019
2. Crackdown 3
Crackdown 3 has been coming for years. In fact, it's actually ridiculous how long the wait has been for Crackdown 3, considering it's little more than a AA shooter.
It's been eight years since Crackdown 2, which was not a good game, and its sequel was announced a mere four years ago. Since then, Crackdown 3 has been delayed four times and undergone seemingly significant changes. Tellingly, developer Sumo Digital has opted to focus on Terry Crews in its marketing for the game, rather than the game itself. While Terry Crews is awesome and an always welcome sight, it bodes terrible for Crackdown 3 that we aren't seeing much of it.
Somewhere along the way, gamers started to believe Crackdown was a good series that should be resurrected, but come February 15th they will be reminded just why the series fell apart in the first place. Crackdown is a mindless shooter akin to Just Cause with a Tron aesthetic, and it will rank as yet another 5/10 Microsoft exclusive this generation.
