5. Street Fighter 6

Everyone on the planet loves Street Fighter, but no one can pretend the promos for Street Fighter 6 have filled us with excitement.

First off, the title's design might be the worst logo in the history of logos. Also, Street Fighter's sixth outing looks like it's ditching the cartoonish aesthetic to focus on a more grounded look. Although it's understandable that the developers want to show off the graphics on a new system, the more realistic design makes SF6 look more like Tekken.

Also, we need to address all the elephants in the room - the Street Fighter name does not hold the same clout it once did.

SFII may have reigned supreme, but its sequels failed to measure up to other beat 'em ups like Mortal Kombat and Smash Bros. And after how badly SFV turned out, the once-legendary fighting series has become a bit of a punchline in the modern gaming world.

Having said that, Capcom could still pull something out of the bag, and revitalise their most iconic franchise. Although no one likes being cynical, many gamers don't think that day will be coming any time soon.
