6. Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora

Because Avatar is the most successful movie of all time, a sequel was always on the cards. And after 13 years, Avatar: The Way of Water will finally hit theatres this December. So, with the hype train fully loaded for James Cameron's sci-fi saga, now feels like the perfect moment for Ubisoft to release Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

At least, that's the idea. Although the game was meant to coincide with the release of The Way of Water, gamers became skeptical when Ubisoft stopped releasing details about the project. These suspicions seemed warranted when the company announced in July 2022 that Frontiers of Pandora had been delayed to 2023 or 2024.

Although this delay is frustrating, it could be regarded as a good sign, since it shows the developers aren't rushing the game out.

But we must remember that Frontiers of Pandora is being developed by the same company behind Avatar: The Game, which was met with atrocious reviews on every platform. Although we hope Ubisoft has learned the error of their ways, the lack of updates and this massive interruption is anything but reassuring.
