10 Video Games That Will Be Released Annually Until The End Of Time

5. A Lego Game

Like Telltale, Traveller's Tales have been making TV and movie licensed games for a long, long time. However, their major breakthrough came in 2005 with the launch of Lego Star Wars - the first of many games based around Lego. Since then, many other properties have undergone the Lego treatment too. Indiana Jones was next up but Batman, Marvel, Harry Potter and Lord Of The Rings have all got in on the action. Traveller's Tales even created an original title - Lego City Undercover, a game that plays like a child-friendly version of Grand Theft Auto. The games are great fun but there's an unbelievable amount of them being pumped out nowadays. The Hobbit, released earlier this year, came under fire for releasing as an incomplete package; the Battle Of The Five Armies (the third film in the trilogy) wasn't included, leading many to believe it would be sold as a separate game as a cash-in opportunity. The consistency of the games cannot be argued but if the series is going through the motions, the quality will inevitably drop. One or two Lego games a year would probably satisfy fans; four or five is quite excessive. However, Traveller's Tales are unlikely to slow down anytime soon - Jurassic Park/World is all but confirmed by an easter egg in Lego Batman 3's credits and with the new Star Wars films on the horizon, new tie-ins will surely follow. It really would be a shame to see the Lego formula grow weary and tedious from overuse.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
