10 Video Games That Will Be Released Annually Until The End Of Time

4. Just Dance

When Nintendo created the Wii, they wanted to get a wider range of people involved in gaming - they wanted to make something which grandparents and small children could comfortably understand and play along with. In this regard, the Wii was a huge success. The simplicity of the Wiimote might have frustrated 'hardcore' gamers but for everyone else, it was something new and exciting. It also spawned the Just Dance series - a game where players danced along in real-life, using the Wiimote to track their movements. Since then, it's been nothing but success for Ubisoft's series. Just Dance is now available on every major console, using the various tech available on each platform (Kinect on Xbox 360/One, PlayStation Camera on PS4). Unlike many games, it actually uses motion-tracking well; the series would flop if it didn't. With these solid foundations in place, Ubisoft are able to simply bundle new tracks together and release a new game each year. A few new modes are added but the main appeal is still the new, up-to-date setlists. Really, as long as Just Dance continues to implement motion-tracking as well as it does, the series should remain popular for the foreseeable future - it's not like dancing is suddenly going to become a dying art. The 'hardcore' gamers might scoff but Ubisoft are going to be making money off this craze for some time yet.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
