10 Video Games That Will Be Released Annually Until The End Of Time

6. WWE

When THQ went under not too long ago, many wondered exactly what would happen to the popular WWE series. Happily for fans, 2K picked it up and with a good track record in sports simulation games, many felt they were the company to take the series to new heights. So far, it hasn't quite worked out like that. 2K14 struggled to leave the old formula behind while 2K15 received a mixed reaction, to say the least (the 360/PS3 version was criticised pretty heavily). The in-ring gameplay has been stale for sometime and the main selling point of every title seems to be improved graphics and a more realistic presentation. New modes like the 2K Showcase from 2K15 do help to flesh out the package though. Still, the series desperately needs to take some time off and let those good ideas become fully realised. The series needs time to develop a slicker in-ring experience; after all, the series collapses if the gameplay becomes too tedious. In the hands of 2K, many expected WWE to push on and become one of the most exciting titles in the sports genre. Instead, it's simply continued to provide mediocre enjoyment which only diehard fans will enjoy for months on end. It looks better year after year; it would be great if it played better too.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
