10 Video Games With Absolutely USELESS AI
5. Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing
Bridges? Not an obstacle. Gravity? What's that? Racing? Never heard of it.
Some games just shouldn't be released or at least, their quality assurance testers should be reprimanded for simple incoherence because there is absolutely no way a title like Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing should've ever seen store shelves.
The worst offence by far that this "game" commits is in the severe level of ineptitude that it shows. In most racing games, the theory is simple. Two or more cars will race against each other to see who can cross the finish line first. Well, in Big Rigs this seems to be quite the foreign concept as the developers of this game didn't even allow the other rig to be rigged with motion. Instead it's rendered completely immobile as you leave the starting line and with that, your opponent.
That's just the first of it's problems.
Additional to this there is not a single texture that is solid; including walls, bridges and hills. There is absolutely no physics present in the game as your 18 wheeled vehicle can climb vertical terrains without hesitating and just when you thought it couldn't get more unrealistic the game actually allows you to drive off the map into another dimension.
I supposed it's not all bad though, at least "You're winner" everytime you play.
