5. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (The Nathan Drake Collection)

Why? Naughty Dog might've let slip ol' Nathan Drake is gonna bite the big one in part four, so what better time to pay tribute than through the best Uncharted of them all? Where do you stand on Uncharted 4? After Naughty Dog established their trilogy release model with Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter and then Uncharted - alongside the gloriously weighty and praiseworthy Last of Us - it feels a bit 'off' to revisit a story and character we've already said goodbye to. Regardless, it's time to remember exactly why that story matters - the characters. Among Thieves features Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley on lead writing duties for the first time, and it shows. Nate's story opens with him near-death, and it's a rollicking ride from interactive set-piece to explosive chase from there on in. Uncharted 2 is the best in the trilogy by a substantial margin, and whether it's the original release or the spruced-up PS4 version you can get your hands on, it's totally worth remembering exactly why we love Drake and his surrounding bunch of characters so much.
