10 Video Games You're Secretly A Fan Of

9. Final Fantasy X-2

Final Fantasy X-2 is arguably the black sheep of the hit RPG franchise, a "straight to video" aside to the mainline franchise which places a rather corny emphasis on girl power, what with its three playable leads being Yuna, Rikku, and Paine.

But X-2 is ultimately also something of a cult classic, a shamelessly campy femme-centric Final Fantasy which indulges in candy floss-flavoured pop music, and a combat system revolving around the clothes that the three leading ladies are wearing. Yup.

Beneath its seemingly ridiculous veneer is one of the most fluid and enjoyable battle systems in the entire franchise, and though the piecemeal outfits the poor trio are forced to wear certainly raise a few eyebrows, the game's overall tone is decidedly less leering than Final Fantasy X itself.

Though X-2 isn't many people's favourite game in the series - if anyone's, in fact - it is an amusingly cheeky slice of nonsense that doesn't take itself nearly as seriously as the mainline installments, and is all the better for it.

It's easy to mock the game for being so damn goofy, but who among us can resist the obscenely catchy opening track, "Real Emotion"? Don't pretend like you don't know the words.
