10 Ways Assassin’s Creed 2017 Could Be The Best Yet

6. Bring Back The Traditional Mounts

Transport has been a very unpredictable feature in the Assassin's Creed series. From traditional horse mounts to drawn carriages and right through to naval vessels and a prototype flying machine, there's been plenty to choose from over the years.

In the most recent instalment, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, players again had the option to operate horse-drawn carriages for chases through London's cobbled streets. Ubisoft leant heavily on this feature, and even tried to introduce rooftop combat as one of their latest exciting innovations.

In truth however, they've actually left excitement behind them where mounts are concerned. Nothing in Unity or Syndicate was able to capture the hurtling excitiment of the horseback chases and leaping assassinations that Ezio was able to pull off in his time in the series. It's time that these features made a return, leaving the carriages trotting along as nothing more than a neat background render.
