10 Ways Nintendo Switch Can Absolutely Dominate In 2018
8. 3rd Party Ports: More Please!
The PS4 and XB1 got a lot of HD/definitive edition ports and collected editions of big names in the early years: Bioshock, Borderlands, Skyrim, Tomb Raider, Okami, L.A. Noire, Bulletstorm and too many others to mention. This practice still continues into 2018 with Assassin's Creed: Rogue getting a facelift as well as the announcement of the definitive edition of Dark Souls. (Did we mention that's coming to Switch!?) Part of this was due to the smaller gap in graphics and processing power between PS3/4 and Xbox 360/1.
Name any of those ports and add "on the go!" - the Switch's tagline - and it would sell for just about anyone. Not just because Nintendo fans missed out on many of the HD-era classics thanks to an underpowered Wii, but also because the Wii U never got the third party support it deserved. Bethesda support of Switch is very much appreciated (Fallout 3 or 4, please?) but Switch fans could use more love from Activision-Blizzard, EA and Take-Two.
Many Switch owners would happily accept a PS3-era version of GTA V on their console.
