10 Ways Nintendo Switch Can Absolutely Dominate In 2018

7. Reboot The MiiVerse!

It's a bit of a shame that the Switch came with no stylus at all - although given the decent nature of the touchscreen on the Switch perhaps it's unnecessary.

But the Wii U stylus gave the MiiVerse such verve and personality. Watching the 'news feed' comments scroll past after besting a particularly harsh Super Mario 3D World level and adding your five cents (or two pence, if you're UK-based) was great fun. Sending frustrated emojis to fiendish Super Mario Maker level designers to give them "feedback" was satisfying, too.

But nothing could top what the MiiVerse became best-known for: creating artistic masterpieces with humble black-and-white shades and limited dots for brushes. When Nintendo announced the switch-off (no pun intended) of the MiiVerse, archivists immediately began a programme to save all that was great and good about this Nintendo-esque social network. So you've got the great and the good with Archiverse and then there's Bad MiiVerse Posts, for a good laugh.

If only the MiiVerse lived on in the Switch...
