10 Worst Video Game ''Limited Editions''

9. Gears Of War 3 Epic Edition £100. Price now £40

Gears Of War 3 came in three different variations. Apart from the standard and limited editions, you also had the choice to buy the Epic edition. The Epic edition came with all the usual stuff you would expect to find, such as an art book and downloadable content. You also got a Octus Service Medal which must have been fun to look at and a tiny COG Flag. But the thing that made it ''Epic'' was the limited edition Marcus Fenix Statue. Admittedly the statue does look awesome when you first see it, its a good size and and well crafted. It was claimed that each one was hand painted. The only issue I have with it is that once you deduct the price of the game from the price of the Epic edition, you have paid £60 for it and the other Gears Of War tat. No matter how awesome you think the statue is, its not worth that amount of money. And considering the game was only released September 2011, you can already pick up the Epic edition for the same price the standard copy cost on release. Although the statue is detailed, the contents of the Epic Edition just felt lazy. For £100, I would expect a proper sized COG flag at the very least.
