2. Brain Extraction - Wolfenstein: The New Order
This one is so effed up it's unbelievable.
The Nazis are of course responsible for all kinds of atrocities in real life, and in Wolfenstein: The New Order, they more than live up with their reputation with what they do to one of B.J Blaskowitz's comrades.
At the start of the game you'll be given a choice between two of your friends. Whoever you don't choose is then brutally murdered by the Nazis in what has to be one of the grimmest ways to die in the history of games.
The unfortunate soul you choose to surrender to the Nazi is placed on a slab before being picked up by a selection of machinery. This machinery then proceeds to start slicing away the skin from the back of your comrade, before a horrible, rotating metallic arm literally burrows deep into the back of their head and sucks out their brain into a giant test tube.
Oh, and they're still very much alive when all of this is going on.
