The Resident Evil movies might not be to everyone's tastes but enough people saw them that collectively Paul W.S. Anderson's six Resi motion pictures have made over $1 billion. They had everything: classic characters, bombastic action and more plot inconsistencies than a gardener with amnesia.

What they didn't have, however, was Snoop Dogg... but that was almost the case.

In pre-production for the second film, Resident Evil Apocalypse included a comic relief character by the name Pimp Daddy who was, according to casting notes, due to be expanded in further rewrites. The reason for this expansion was that Constantin Film had secured Snoop Dogg, who was at the height of his popularity at that time. However, Snoop had scheduling conflicts due to also signing on for the Starsky & Hutch reboot.

As such, his character was given a quick shake up, given the name L.J. and Mike Epps stepped into the role.

Whatever you may think of the film, it's hard to deny that L.J. wasn't the most entertaining part of it. "GTA, mothereffer!"
