4. Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast

Although the first Jedi Knight was a fantastic little title, it was with JKII that it made the leap to consoles, and more importantly - Xbox Live.

Back when we were all intrepid (and polite) adventurers online, JK's perfect mix of deathmatch-objectives, perfect sound-effects and a great mix of lightsaber vs. blaster duels meant it was easy to pick up and play, yet with a surprising amount of depth when it came to balancing everything out.

Alternating between 3rd and 1st person was the order of the day, and even though watching any footage of the game's 3rd person melee-showdowns looks extremely dated, when the crack and fizzle of lightsaber's clashing off each other sounded as good as it did, that didn't matter whatsoever.
