2. For The First Time In 24 Years, Moogles Aren't Making A Full Appearance

Easily one of the most iconic creature designs in RPG history (right next to Dragon Quest's Slimes), Final Fantasy's Moogles have been in each game since 1992's Final Fantasy V (they first appeared in FF III, but missed out on the fourth instalment).

Now in FF XV, director Tetsuya Nomura noted that he didn't feel the cuddly little balloon-headed creatures would 'fit' with FF XV's tone, yet following a fan poll to see if the audience still wanted them to appear, the result was unanimously positive.

As a result, despite FF XV not having any animated Moogles, they're still available as 'lucky items' from a number of outlets and gas stations on your travels.
