11 Reasons Lost Legacy Is Better Than Uncharted 4

8. Perfect Mix Of Exploration, Puzzle-Solving & Combat

Back to the game itself, and never are you doing any one thing for too long. It's true that the only 'new thing' Lost Legacy brings to the table mechanically is some basic lock-picking, but that's besides the point.

At this stage we know what Uncharted 'is' - climbing, shooting, platforming, rope-swing mechanics, puzzle solving etc. - and Lost Legacy knows how to jump between each recognisable element at a steady clip.

There's no elongated climbing section where you're continually falling down, and best of all, puzzles are scattered across a huge open-world expanse at the beginning, letting you either drink them at your own pace or continue with the story itself, with combat punctuating everything by letting you blow off steam every 20-30 minutes.

Overall there's a handcrafted, purposeful feel to how the game's story, set-pieces and puzzles are assembled that was missing in the kitchen sink approach of Uncharted 4. It just goes, and you're along for a ride that doesn't let up until the credits.
