9. Next-Gen/Current Gen Hybrids
Ok, ok, this is more than one game, but it seems unfair to devote multiple spots to games that are already out amongst us but are also going to be re-released in a few days time for the Xbox One and Playstation 4. Although most of the changes are cosmetic, many of us are waiting to play next-gen Call of Duty Ghosts, Assassin's Creed IV, Battlefield 4, FIFA and others when our new consoles arrive. If you've already bought some of these titles, it is also possible to upgrade them (on PS4) for a smaller fee than you'd pay usually. You'll get a digital download upon purchasing. I'm particularly exciting to explore the rolling seas of Assassin's Creed IV on next gen: I've resisted buying the current gen version so far, but it keeps staring at me irresistibly in the shops, whispering sweet nothings and trying to lure me in. I'll keep resisting though - I'm sure all these next gen upgrades will be worth it.
