Video games adapted from movies get a bad rap, and most of the time rightly so. It most often appears that publishers fritter away so much money trying to get their hands on the product's license that they don't allocate enough money for decent voice acting and visuals, and more importantly a strong developmental core in regard to gameplay. Now, I'm not going to tread over old ground and include games like Atari's infamous E.T., because frankly, did many people really expect that to be a good game? It's not like the movie was particularly action packed, and the same goes for the famously bad video games based on Wayne's World, Bill & Ted, and so on. And definitely not Catwoman, because the movie sucked, so why wouldn't the game be a steaming pile of dung? Also, Superman 64 sadly misses out on a place because it is in fact based upon Superman: The Animated Series rather than any of the Christopher Reeve movies. Instead, I've selected video games that by all virtues should be kick-ass and awesome, adapted from action-packed, exciting movies that a lot of people enjoyed. Even with that advantage, these games couldn't help but completely blow. Are there any momentously bad movie video games I missed? As usual, shout it out in the comments!
