12 Embarrassing Things All Gamers Do But Would Never Admit

8. The Humble Rage Quit

We're passionate about the gaming industry. We care greatly about the experiences we put money down on every single month and become increasingly involved as we delve into the marvellous worlds those lovely game developers create for us. Unfortunately, many of us get so involved that we've developed an entirely new phrase for the anger we feel with games at certain points. Mostly inflicted by far too much obsession with MMOs and Call of Duty multiplayer, the rage quit has become a part of the game industry that many of us take to the extreme. At its most basic level, rage quitting is the simple act of getting annoyed, putting down the controller, switching off the console and going to another room for a reassuring cup of tea. Other rage quitters aren't quite so tame - controllers can be flung, many a swear can be heard, keyboards can be snapped, windows can be broken and it generally isn't safe for others to be in the immediate vicinity. If you've ever had one of these extreme meltdowns, it's probably best not to admit it to anyone ever. If you're lucky, you did it when you were alone and nobody could judge you. If not, everyone is going to think you're a complete lunatic for the rest of your days.
