12 Embarrassing Things All Gamers Do But Would Never Admit

7. The Obsessive Hoarder

Have you seen my collection of spoons? Gathered from all over the world and scattered in an artistic fashion across the floor of my Wizard's Tower, this collection is utterly and totally wonderful and utterly and totally pointless. Perhaps most commonly found in open-world games such as Skyrim that literally let you pick up anything and store it in your inventory, the open-world game allows the gamer to create an entirely pointless hoard of equipment that you can place all over your owned properties and marvel at. As you travel among these items, marvelling at the time where you collected every cheese wedge possible, or the time when you decided to try and precariously stack every book you've ever found on top of each other with great precision, it's hard not to feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Just try to explain to others though that you spent hours of your life collecting digital items for absolutely no discernible gain. No trophies/achievements were to be had - you simply decided that you would be the only person you knew who had collected every single pointless item in a game ever and had something to show for it.
