12 GameCube Games That Prove It's The Most Underrated Console Ever

2. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Zelda fans are some of the most patient in the world, with their beloved games repeatedly being delayed. Twilight Princess was no exception. Nintendo poured so much time and effort into the Gamecube game that it was delayed until the Wii came along. Still, the trusty purple cube would not crumble, and smoothly harnessed the power of Twilight Princess. It was an immense swansong for the machine, and really showed off what it was capable of. Fans got their much-craved 'realistic' style Zelda, with Hyrule brought onto a huge scale. The story was darker, but immensely enjoyable, challenging and everything you'd want from a Zelda title. It's amazing to think it's been almost nine years since it first appeared on fans' screens.
